THIS IMAGE IS NO MORE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The artproject “This Image Is no More” by artist group Good TV (Juan Pedro Fabra, Michele Masucci and Loulou Cherinet) is a non-profit research endeavour and is part of The Invisible Generation and organised by Vision Forum. Vision Forum is an independent part of KSM (Kultur Samhälle Mediagestaltning) at Linköpingsuniversitet, Norrköping, Sweden.
Project description for “This Image is No More”:
We have engaged a diverse group of ordinary people who live and work in the Wudaoying Hutong District to tell personal stories based on a specific image. With the help of a city map the public will find these storytellers in their everyday settings at home or at work. On request each person/storyteller will perform a monologue describing their specific image to the public. This image could be of any object, artwork or place that no longer exist in physical form. The image could have been censored, erased, manipulated or simply lost somewhere. It could also be that the image is imagined, a dream, a memory or a vision never materialised. It would be an image that only exists in the act of storytelling.
